There are eucalyptus and jequitibas ... Rubem Alves well defined and teachers, in that order. Eucalyptus, without shame those trees that grow quickly and can be replaced quickly and without problems. Jequitiba, old trees that have a face, an identity, a story.
Reading it, immersed in a sphere of time that will have far ... By late 1980 or so. Adelia reminded of Dona and Dona Valdete, teachers who accompanied me on the 1st and 2nd grade respectively.

Owner Valdete taught smiling. Owner Adelia only taught.
Both left their mark. The owner left by Adelia and bruises that were no longer hurt, but still. The owner of Valdete like scribbles gouache, colored dreams, now softened by days that flow greedy, but still clearly visible in the papers already yellowed. His teachings had a sweet taste. Ice cream with syrup tenderness.
Owner Adelia knew teaching. Owner Valdete did learn, (re) learning and (un) learning every day.
Owner Adelia was an employee of the State; owner Valdete, artisan. And as artisan, not allow their identity to be swallowed by its function. His identity was their belief, what he believed and that brought up that school in that room with those kids: me and my colleagues, and he could read in bold, Legal: educator.
Owner Valdete not taught. Planting dates, and did not care if the crop was slow to come. The two had a job. The difference is that one called, well, inside, the other outside call.
Owner Adelia followed the times and kept strictly to the dates. It worked for her with the rigidity of an officer. Owner Valdete was free and happy.
Owner Adelia followed the disciplinary content of the books. Owner Valdete writing poetry. I recited in the church.
Owner Adelia taught me to write; owner Valdete, the love of writing.
Owner Adelia controlled with the look and prohibited; Valdete owner with the smile and explanation.
Owner Valdete Bela was a (un) Beauty. Owner Adelia, no longer saw her. Maybe it was agreed to his lethargic sleep. Or not.
