What was an open secret for insiders for years, has now found its way to the light of the public: Chely Wright
has in an interview with the American People-Magazine, the highest in the U.S. 7th May 2010 appear to be aware of their homosexuality.
"There was never a country singer or singer, who has adopted the standing to his or her homosexuality - and I did not want to be first."

In the interview results Chely Wright further out that she had married in her youth and the beginning of her career never to speak honestly about their sexuality.

Rumors about the homosexuality of some country-sawyers and singers come to the U.S. from time to time high, but so far has, no one dared to stand by this, as in the U.S. Country Music is heard a lot of conservative listeners that condemn homosexuality as before. Even rumors in the past have been destroyed one way or another career.
