Denies Rumors Of Being Gay

Kenny Chesney is opening up about end of his short marriage in 2005 to Renee Zellweger and rumors of being gay.

In a interview with Playboy magazine, Chesney blames himself for the failed marriage.

The country music star told Playboy that "didn't have any clue" what true marriage meant. He said he didn't know how to commit to his music and to his marriage at the same time. So, the marriage lost.

He also said the paparazzi and attention became too intense for him and he panicked.

As for Zellweger checking the box on the legal papers that said "fraud," Chesney said they didn't have much of a choice.

He said that you could either claim physical abuse, mental abuse or three or four other things that weren't true. There was no "other" box so they agreed to "fraud."

Some people took it to mean he's gay. Chesney was angered at the rumors.

"I think people need to live their lives the way they want to, but I'm pretty confident in the fact that I love girls," Chesney told Playboy. "I've got a long line of girls who could testify that I am not gay."
