Although the new year is already good four weeks old, we want to throw back from CountryMusicNews.de even a brief glance. Despite the economic crisis and the resulting decline in advertising revenue, we can not complain. In 2009, several record labels have advertised with us. One of the main reasons is the quality of the site with their reports. For example, a colleague from the EMI was to find us because he was looking for Tift Merritt, and never suspected that anyone at all in Germany there that deals with it. Or an employee of the House Universal dubbed us as premium site design with which one must simply work together. At Sony, an employee found that only very rarely find such a good CD reviews on the net are like us. A major shortcoming that moreover, the time finally picking up in one article. We are proud that our colleagues to sit down, listen to music and write down their own thoughts. Press releases from the record labels are not used in our course, in the discussions. You need a CD, a movie or a book and do not always give the full assessment score. So we wrote Oliver Flesch, Gunter Gabriel co-author of the book "Who was sitting deep in the basement of the following lines:" There was a little surprised that, in my opinion, the best and most accurate gg-book-Critique calculated on a country-portal to Read written. funny, fairly and correctly criticized - I love it! " But alone the praise of people from record companies, film distributors and book publishers have not brought us to where we are now. The loyalty of our readers continues to be what we want most. We take suggestions from you and to heart and constantly tinkering on the side to make it even more attractive ... and our effort is worth it. For years, we have very good attendance and are among the country's most visited sites in Germany. Presumably, we are even the most popular German-language website. But only large attendance not say enough about the quality. It also revolves around how long a visitor stays on our side on average. Thus, according to Google Analytics currently calling each visitor on average 6.25 pages and adheres to three to four minutes on our side. An important factor is the bounce rate. If someone comes to our site, for example through a search engine, read only one article and then leave the site again, it increases our bounce rate. After the redesign of the site at the end of 2008, we were just under 50%, or almost one in two visitors called on only one side and then has CountryMusicNews.de leave again. This had to do with the fact that our regular readers had to get accustomed again to the new concept. In recent weeks we have managed to press the bounce rate to below 1%. That is, a contrario, that many people who visit our site for the first time to look even further on our side, instead of leaving it again immediately. This again is very good for the country scene: When a visitor comes to the page that has so far not dealt much with the music and then find our site interesting, he hears the future, perhaps more country music. Of course, we also ensure that many new visitors coming to our side. One focus this year is for us the film "Crazy Heart", on 4 March 2010 comes to the cinemas. Currently we are planning several joint operations with the film distributor. Similar to "Walk the Line," we hope to keep many people interested in music on the page. At that time, our visitor numbers shot up and many first-time visitors, we now count among our regular readers. Immediately after the theatrical release of "Crazy Heart" Kevin Costner coming to Germany. Here, too many people aware for the first time with country music come into contact. We are these people trying to permanently interested in country music. We hope to work with you, our readers, progressive music in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to make popular. Sit down with us for it and let us know how we can improve our site. Colleagues from the editors and art are always open to your suggestions. |
