It's not every day that you can attend a show with two batteries.Even less when the show is given by 3 guys su'l sofa, training more recognized for his acoustic performances.

Because they knew that their album tour ended Kite, Nicola Morel, Guillaume Monette and William Meloche wanted to give pleasure, afford "a trip of guys" with a lot more rock show that usual.

Name three guys, two drums, one evening, the concert showed us very special trio with other musicians stooges.
Were on the scene and the Astral Friday night co-director of Kite, David Brunet, and the two drummers and Steve Caron Maxime Drouin.
After intermission, the group welcomed two special guests, Alexandre Desilets and Matthew Beaumont (Knitting Machine) came to sing a song (Morel Nicola also plays guitar on the last disc Knitting Machine).

On stage, three guys su'l sofa is first three good friends who have started simply to make music together for fun.
Three guys who were roommates in college and have decided to push their passion for music a step further.
And this passion is contagious as the trio sent the crowd of Astral, relatively dense (comprising mostly people in their twenties) to the trio's first concert in Montreal in more than six months.

While most parts of cobras, tarantulas and Kite have been played (including the popular at the beach just before the intermission), 3 gars sofa has su'l great pleasure to the audience by interpreting one of the greatest one hit wonder of Quebec: I'm fine.
"We apologize to those in the balcony, you will not know this song, launched Nicola children being housed excited that the majority of the second floor.
At that time, we listened to music on cassettes and wore Walkmen our belt. "There followed a very dynamic interpretation of the success of Kathleen.

More pep

We wondered to what extent the addition of two batteries could change a concert of three guys su'l sofa.
The response was immediate.
Unsurprisingly, the percussion adds a lot of pep to the songs of the trio and, fortunately, they bury not the pretty melodies.

For it might also have a feast of deafening noise.
But no, the group has been smart enough to play the two drummers was relatively moderate.
Joining them are David Brunet added some noise of his own, courtesy of a keyboard.

It was this unique representation in this kind for three guys su'l sofa?
We sincerely hope not.
For even if the trio is very charming when reduced in size, we must admit that adding additional instruments clearly increases the appreciation of the show.
