Jason Arnott and Shea Weber have each recorded two goals Sunday, and they were the stars of a 5-2 victory in Nashville Predators face the Carolina Hurricanes. Scott Nichol also found the bottom of the net for the Predators, who have never fired from the back in the game and had no difficulty to end a brief sequence of two defeats. Martin Erat added two assists while goaltender Dan Ellis blocked 24 washers. The Predators have passed the first four goals of the meeting, three in the second period, and have passed a series of digital early in the meeting to take control of the match. The Hurricanes, who had won their three previous encounters, tried to undermine their rivals by scoring twice early in the third period, but they could never recover from their poor start. Matt Cullen has managed one of the purposes of Hurricanes and earned an assist on that of Chad LaRose. |
