Central Parking Corp. has been selected by the Washington Redskins to manage the parking at the NFL team's home field, FedExField.

Eight regular season games, two preseason games and various events including concerts, soccer games and trade shows are held at the field, the largest stadium in the National Football League.

FedExField opened in 1997 with a seating capacity of 80,116 and has grown to a current capacity of 91,704 seats.

Nashville-based Central Parking will manage multiple parking lots surrounding the stadium that provide parking for more than 22,000 vehicles.

With the addition of this contract, Central Parking now works directly with 28 teams in the four major leagues, including management of parking at NFL stadiums in Baltimore, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Nashville and Philadelphia.
