The Crossings at Spring Hill recently lost its Circuit City store because of the company’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy, but the 63-acre open air shopping center is gaining another national retail chain — Olive Garden Italian Restaurant.

The restaurant will open Feb. 16 at the $100 million development in Maury County.

The 467,000-square-foot regional retail center is anchored by Tennessee's first SuperTarget, which opened in 2008. It also includes Kohl's, Books-A-Million, Bed Bath and Beyond, Dress Barn, Cracker Barrel and several other retail and dining establishments.

A second phase of the development is in the works. It includes a 12- screen movie theater, shopping, office buildings and hotels.

Brentwood-based GBT Realty is a retail real estate development company.
