Kelley promoted to senior VP at Documentary Channel; will oversee NYC office

Documentary Channel has promoted Jay Kelley to senior vice president of sales and marketing.

The Nashville-based network has also hired Jeremy Cecil and Donald Flanders as account executives in the New York office. Both will concentrate on national sponsorship sales.

Kelley will be responsible for all sponsorships, advertising sales and marketing for the network and will be based out of the Nashville office. He will continue to manage the company's Nashville-based sales, marketing and commercial operations teams, as well as the new duties of overseeing the New York office.

"Our New York team will be in good hands with Jay and I look forward to maximizing our presence in the nation's No. 1 media market under his leadership," says Tom Neff, founder and CEO of Documentary Channel.

Since joining DOC in 2004, Kelley served as the senior vice president of marketing and senior vice president of creative services.
