Louisiana Pacific Building Products and the Tennessee Titans’ are declaring "Code Blue," and they don't mean a medical emergency. When the Titans hit the turf at LP Field for Monday Night Football Oct. 27, they’re expected to be greeted by a sea of fans bedecked in light-blue clothing to represent the team’s predominant color. They’ll also see freshly-painted blue facades in the LP Building Zone. It’s LP’s way of taking part in “Code Blue,” a campaign launched by the Titans encouraging the roughly 70,000 fans expected to attend the game to “wear Titans light blue and become part of Monday Night Football history.” The facades in the Building Zone house the end zone concession stands, restrooms and restaurants at LP Field. To raise awareness for the Monday night game and Code Blue, the LP and Titans Street Team, made up of Titans mascot T-Rac, Titans cheerleaders and men in blue tuxedos, is going around town chalking sidewalks, handing out prizes and posting posters. Nashville-headquartered LP is a supplier of building products. |
