LifePoint takes top honors in marketing awards PDF Print E-mail

LifePoint Hospitals in Brentwood won Best of Show in the marketing industry’s most prestigious contest for its campaign to educate consumers about colon cancer.

LifePoint’s campaign generated more than 2,000 at-home tests and more than 200 doctor referrals. It also won the award for best business-to-consumer marketing campaign.

The Achievement Marketing Awards were presented Wednesday by the American Marketing Association’s Nashville chapter. The awards recognize campaigns that achieved measurable results or progress toward an objective.

Other winners included the Nashville Symphony, which won best not-for-profit campaign for a spirited series of ads promoting new music director Giancarlo Guerrero which resulted in increased ticket sales.

Nashville-based Emdeon, a medical billings services provider, won the best business-to-business prize for a campaign aimed at its existing customers.
