My Office Products Inc. has acquired a Chicago office supply dealer, the Nashville business-to-business independent office supply dealer announced today.

Bob Rolfe, chairman and CEO of MyOfficeProducts, made the announcement today in Chicago at a companywide meeting of Royal Office Products employees, according to a release. Terms of the deal were not released.

Royal Office Products was founded in 1955 and employs more than 100, including 28 Sales Reps who serve 12 markets in nine states.

Rolfe reportedly assured Royal employees that other than an eventual name change to MyOfficeProducts, they should not notice any material changes to the way they serve their customers.

The combined annual revenue of MyOfficeProducts and Royal in 2008 exceeded $135 million, the release says.

The company now has a sales presence that includes more than 110 sales reps serving 44 markets across 16 states, including the West, the Southeast, the Mid-Atlantic and Chicago area.
