Preds suitors confirm five previously unnamed purchase bid players

David Freeman of 36 Venture Capital LLC has confirmed the makeup of the ownership team which is seeking to buy the Nashville Predators.

Previously, Freeman would only disclose the names of himself, Herb Fritch, HealthSpring CEO; and William "Boots" Del Biaggio of San Jose, Calif.

On Monday, Freeman confirmed reports that the five other members are Chris Cigarran of Healthways, Tom Cigarran of Healthways, Joel Dobberpuhl of Franklin, De Thompson V of Thompson Machinery Commerce Corp. and John Thompson of Thompson Machinery.

The group has issued a letter of intent to buy the NHL team from Craig Leipold for $193 million.
