{mosimage}Locally based PureSafety has bought a Colorado-based software developer
whose workplace safety products are installed at about 2,700 locations.
Unique Software Solutions was founded in 1986 and markets its products to companies looking to track and manage their occupational health, safety and environmental information. The company this year landed as clients Procter & Gamble, the city of Owensboro and the University of Maryland Medical Center, among others. Its staff will remain based in Colorado Springs. "Adding OHM to our existing software suite extends our offering in key areas and creates a total solution that is unmatched in the industry," said PureSafety President and CEO Bill Grana. "It gives us new capabilities in key areas like medical surveillance, industrial hygiene, MSDS, and medical and clinical management." Nine-year-old PureSafety works with more than 1,000 companies on workplace health, safety and organizational programs as well as risk management software. The company, which employs more than 100 people, is owned by the Thompson family, a major investor in SouthComm. |
