Aloft Chapel Hill Hotel to open April 29

The long-awaited and luxury-packed Aloft Chapel Hill Hotel has set an April 29 opening date, according to the Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau.

The 130-room, loft-inspired structure is part of the East 54 development and is located at 1001 S. Hamilton Road off Raleigh Road (N.C. 54).

Developed by the Inland American Real Estate Trust, the facility hgs 600 square feet of meeting space, an indoor swimming pool, a plug-and-play connectivity center, hotel-wide high speed Internet access, plush platform beds, bathrooms featuring Bliss Spa products, a fitness center and a bar open 5 p.m. to midnight except for Friday and Saturday, when it will stay open until 2 a.m.
