RYANAIR ANNOUNCES ITS 39th BASE IN FARO

Ryanair, the favorite among the world's airlines, said in December that day16 opens its 39th base in Faro in March 2010 with 3 aircraft at the base and launching 14 new routes (28 in total). Ryanair will create over 150 direct jobs and offering more than 200 weekly flights to / from Faro in an investment exceeding $ 200 million at the airport.

The 14 new routes from Ryanair from Faro to Billund, Birmingham, Derry, Eindhoven, Kerry, Knock, Madrid, Marseille, Maastricht, Memmingen, Milan (Bergamo), Oslo (Torp), Paris (Beauvais) and Stockholm (Skavsta) will increase Ryanair traffic at Faro to 1.3 million passengers pa sustaining 1,300 jobs well-paying jobs. On Wednesday, December 16, 2009, Michael O'Leary, Ryanair said:

"Ryanair have the pleasure to announce Faro as our 39th base with 14 new routes from next March, will be available from tomorrow for booking in www.ryanair.pt.

With a total of 27 low cost routes from Faro, Portuguese consumers can win next summer recession in choosing the guaranteed lowest fares of Ryanair, with no fuel supplements to 27 exciting destinations spread throughout Europe, including France, Italy and Germany, among others. The 1.3 million Ryanair passengers will sustain 1,300 jobs in the local region of Faro. "
