Nashville is known as the country music capital of the world. While that may be true, there is much else to do besides music. Here are some of the highlights to visit during your stay in Tennessee.

OK, I'll start with a reference of Country Music, because we're still talking about Nashville. To do this I will recommend to take a tour of the Ryman Auditorium (former home of Grand Ole Opry). The Ryman is open for visitors from 9am-4pm and you for this you can make a guided tour or on their behalf. I also recommend getting tickets to go to one of the live entertainment.

Adventure Science Center: The excitement of scientific discovery awaits you! Explore over 150 interactive exhibits and programs for children and adults. Watch the skies of 40 feet Südekum Planetarium. Climb to the seven levels in the top interactive tower adventure , and enjoy the experience of BodyQuest, on an exciting journey through the human body.

Wave Country: This place has a series of slides and a wave machine that can create up to four meters high. There is a wicker park facilities, picnic areas and space for children to play outdoors. Admission: $ 8 for age 13 and older, $ 7 for 12 years, children under 4 years are admitted free. Parking is free and the rent of floats is $ 4.

General Jackson Showboat: This paddlewheel cruise passes 100 yards from the Cumberland River each day. Once aboard, the atmosphere and hospitality will transport the 19 century. During the day this cruise includes a buffet lunch and personal service. The cruise includes a three-course meal and entertainment provided by a fantastic swing band live for the ballroom. The cost of this day cruise is $ 34 per person per night cruise: $ 62. Note: Price does not include appetizers or wine.

Nashville Zoo at Grassmere: At this zoo you will encounter cougars, black bears, Bengal tigers, zebras, leopards and playful river otters etc. Children can even go a little wild one in the yard of "The Jungle Gym."

Belle Meade Plantation: This 1853 mansion is the centerpiece of 5,400 acres, this 19th century farm is still known as the "Queen of the plantations of Georgia," the present thirty-acre site includes many of the original units and a collection of old carriages. Allow an hour to go the mansion and its surroundings.

Bicentennial Mall State Park: This park of 19 hectares was built in 1996 to commemorate 200 years of Tennessee. It offers wonderful views of the city and features a granite map of Tennessee 200 feet. There is also a timeline set in a 1,400-foot granite with documentation of the history of Tennessee, a 2,000 seat amphitheater, botanical garden and visitor center. Takes to travel at least an hour around the park. Restrooms, a gift shop and restaurants are next to the park. Admission is free, but special events may have an entrance fee.

The Grand Ole Opry Muesum: This museum is next to the Opry Plaza, near the Grand Ole Opry House. Shows special characteristics of electronic audio effects and video and interactive devices so you can hear the music as you relive the history of country music.

Opryland Hotel Indoor Garden and Collections: This place is just amazing and it is advisable to go each time you visit Nashville. There are three indoor gardens nationally acclaimed: The Conservatory, The Cascades and The Delta. The Conservatory covers two acres and is devoted solely to tropical plants. The Cascades also cover two acres and features waterfalls, a lake of 12,500 square feet under roof. The Delta covers 4.5 acres and features restaurants, shops and a source that emits jets of water 85 feet in the air. A river runs through the stunning fall where they spend the boat ride passenger. The best part of all this is that literally can spend the day here and admission is free!

Nightlife in Nashville: It occurs wild wherever you go you can enjoy live music, dancing, karaoke and a host of other fun ways to unleash their holiday.
